Jul 24, 2007 (newstodate): Adria Airways is keen to develop its 3rd party aircraft maintenance centre.
Preparations for construction of the third hangar are in the final stage, and the company plans to start construction work in the autumn.
The centre is now forecast to exceed the 12 percent planned growth in turnover, which is also significantly higher than the European average, which is seven percent for this sector.
In 2007 the Centre has obtained contracts for continued cooperation with all 18 currently contracted partners, and some customers, such as Austrian Airlines, also agreed to long-term, ten-year contracts.
Five-year maintenance contracts were also signed with the airlines Eurowings, Malev and Lufthansa CityLine.
The Adria Airways maintenance division will also be the first in Europe to maintain CRJ type aircraft for the Chinese partner China United.
