Jun 15, 2007 (newstodate): Traxon Europe expects to pass a milestone in transaction volumes later this year.
The provider of e-communication for air cargo transactions is anticipating to reach a record number of 100 million messages in the fourth quarter of 2007, and if the current trends continue that figure could actually be 110 million electronic messages exchanged between airlines, air cargo forwarding agents and Customs authorities via Traxon.
The result will significantly exceed the figure achieved in 2006 a total of 92 million messages.
Operating a network of offices and joint ventures around the world, TRAXON Europe links over 9,000 forwarders' offices with around 90 international airlines worldwide, which together represent 95 percent of IATA-registered global airfreight capacity.
