Jun 15, 2007 (newstodate): In this year's Q1, Sweden reported little growth in export airfreight on IATA carriers.
The total volumes, reported by CASS Nordic, were 28,366 tonnes, up a meagre 1.7 percent, y-o-y.
Sweden's single largest IATA export freight market accounting for 25,7 percent of the total freight remains the North Atlantic that, however, dropped 23.4 percent to 7,287 tonnes.
The South Asian Subcontinent came 2nd with a total of 3,309 tonnes, up 1.5 percent, followed by the Middle East with 3,121 tonnes, up 59.1 percent.
5th comes exports to China with 2,764 tonnes, up two percent, followed by South East Asia, 2,739 tonnes, up 49.5 tonnes, and Japan, 1,735 tonnes, increasing 12.7 percent.
