Jun 28, 2007 (newstodate): Lufthansa Systems has further strengthened its presence in Russia's civil aviation.
Russia's S7 Siberia Airlines has signed a five-year contract with Lufthansa Systems for implementation of the provider's IT solutions to support S7 Airlines' schedule management processes.
Since 2004, S7 Airlines has been flying with Lufthansa Systems' FMS data.
Earlier this month, Lufthansa Systems announced a major cooperation with Russian cargo carrier AirBridge Cargo, and other customers in the region include VIM-Air, Volga Dnepr, SkyExpress, AIRUnion (Kras Air, Domodedovo, Samara, Omskavia, and Sibiraviatrans), and Vladivostok Air.
