According to airport statistics, total volumes were up 3.94 percent, y-o-y, to 5,553 tonnes.
The totals comprised 3,085 tonnes of cargo and mail exports, down 1.22 percent, and 2,468 tonnes of imports, up 12.69 tonnes.
For the first five months of 2007, totals were 26,121 tonnes, up 1.08 percent, with 2.05 percent decline in exports and 5,46 percent growth in imports.
The airport's statistics are not easily aligned with Icelandair Cargo's as the airport counts transfer shipments twice as both import and export cargo.
