Jun 22, 2007 (newstodate): The change of ownership of the German Schwerin Airport, also named Baltic Airport Schwerin, is now drawing near.
July 1, 2007, will be the official hand-over date, when the new owner, the Chinese Zhengzhou-based logistics company LinkGlobal Logistics Co that acquired the airport at a price of 100,000,000 euro takes control.
When a management company has been established, LinkGlobal Logistics will introduce cargo flights between Zhengzhou's Xinzheng Airport, in the Henan province, and Schwerin that is located half-way between Hamburg and Berlin.
