Jun 11, 2007 (newstodate): Aeroflot seems to have decided to order Boeing's Dreamliner alongside its order for 22 Airbus A350XWB.
Boeing's decision seems to be prompted by Boeing's pledges for cooperation in developing Russia's new mid-range commercial aircraft, the SuperJet 100.
The decision is, however, no big news as Aeroflot said, already in September last year, that it would take both aircraft for its long-haul fleet.
In March, 2007, Aeroflot placed its order for 22 Airbus A350XWB aircraft for delivery in 2015.
To cover the capacity gap till then, Aeroflot also decided to lease 10 new A330-200.
