May 22, 2007 (newstodate): A new airline is planning to start operations during the summer between New York and destinations in Central Europe.
Adriatic Eagle Air will operate on a weekly basis to Tirana, Albania, from June 9 to August 26, and to Pristina, Kosova, from June 11 to August 27.
The carrier will also operate flights on July 11, August 8, and September 1 to Podgorica, Montenegro, while plans are still pending for flights to Skopje, Macedonia.
The company, normally engaged in intra-USA air charter services, will operate a DC-10-30, chartered from ATA.
