May 7, 2007 (newstodate): Ukraine has now secured the financing of a new terminal at Kiev Boryspil Airport, and calls for prequalification offers.
The Japan Bank for International Cooperation has entered a loan agreement with the Ukrainean government for the amount of 19,092,000,000 Yen.
Consequently, the Boryspil International Airport has announced the launch of a selection process of the general developer-contractor for the building of a new terminal complex in Boryspil International Airport.
The works consist of the manufacture, delivery, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, completion and maintenance of a wide range of facilities, including all civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical works including airfield and runway lighting.
The tender will be opened during the latter half of this year, and the construction is planned to commence in the second quarter of 2008 and to be completed in the third quarter of 2010.
