Apr 4, 2007 (newstodate): The Romanian carrier Tarom is reportedly in the process of procuring more Airbus aircraft.
The airline will acquire a number of A318 aircraft, sources say.

Tarom has been an Airbus customer since 1992 when the carrier acquired two Airbus A310 that were sold at an auction in October 2004, when Tarom closed down its intercontinental flights to the USA.
In 2006, Tarom operated a fleet of two Airbus A319, seven ATR-42-500, five Boeing 737-300 and four Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
