Apr 12, 2007 (newstodate): The Hungarian export airfreight market will grow by 6.1 percent p.a. over the next five years, according to a market analysis prepared for Lufthansa Cargo.
From 39,823 tonnes in 2006, total volumes will grow to some 42,000 in 2007, and to about 57,000 in 2012, the analysis says.
Hnugary's exports to the North Aamerican markets will grow even faster by 6.4 percent, from 17,700 tonnes in 2006 to almost 26,000 tonnes in 2012, remaining Hungary's single largest export airfreight market.
European volumes, the second largest, will show a lower growth at 5.2 percent, from 11,000 tonnes in 2006 to about 15,000 in 2012.
Higher growth will be seen in exports to the Far East, which will increase by 7.2 percent from 5,700 tonnes in 2006, to 8,500 tonnes in 2012.
