Apr 2, 2007 (newstodate): The Czech export airfreight market will grow by 5.6 percent annually during 2006-12, according to an analysis prepared for Lufthansa Cargo.
In 2006 the Czech market generated a total of 52,494 tonnes, growing to 55,000 this year and to about 73,000 tonnes in 2012.
Europe is the Czech prime market, accounting for some 24,000 tonnes in 2006 and growing by 4,6 percent through the period.
Next follows the North Atlantic market that will grow by 6.1 percent from 17,431 tonnes in 2006 to 25,000 tonnes in 2012.
The largest growth will, however, be in exports to the Far East/Pacific region, increasing by 7.6 percent from 8,000 tonnes in 2006 to 12,500 tonnes in 2012.
