In March, the carrier lifted a total of 7,906 tonnes of cargo with only Asian airfreight increasing, up 13.8 percent to 4,468 tonnes.
European cargo dropped 20 percent to 1,835 tonnes, North Atlantic cargo was down 10.2 percent to 561 tonnes, scheduled cargo charter tonnes was down 37.2 percent to 687 tonnes, and domestic and leisure cargo fell, too.
For January-March totaling 21,659 tonnes, Finnair Cargo is only 0.5 percent ahead of last year, saved exclusively by Asian cargo that increased by 19,7 percent to 12,097 tonnes.
In March the cargo load factor dropped 17.3 percentage points to 44.7, while the decline in January-March was 15.6 percentage points to 41.7 percent.
