Apr 16, 2007 (newstodate): The future of Reykjavik's city airport is again on the agenda.
In a yet-unpublished report, prepared by experts appointed by the Transport Minister and Reykjaviks mayor to evaluate the location of Reykjavik domestic airport, the conclusion is that the airport should be moved from its current location to another site east of the city, sources say.
The alternative is moving the city airport to Keflavik International Airport 50 km away.
The issue is, however, frozen till 2016 when the current urban planning period expires
