The post has been vacant since the end of last year when Gunars Peize left the company to take up a new position as managing director for AG Handling, set up by the Latvian forwarding company Spedair at Riga Airport.
Mr Peize held his position as airBaltic Head of Cargo for a year, succeeding Mr Haralds Treimanis, who left the company for a post as managing director for Frans Maas Latvia from January 16, 2006.
