Apr 2, 2007 (newstodate): Aeroflot has now secured the lease of A330 aircraft to fill the gap till the delivery of its 22 Airbus A350XWB aircraft in 2014.
The carrier has signed an operational lease agreement for 10 new Airbus A330-200 aircraft with AerCap, with delivery of the first two aircraft in 2008, five in 2009, and three in 2010.
The Aeroflot fleet currently comprises a total of 90 aircraft, including 14 Tu-134, 28 Tu-154, six Il-96, eight Airbus �319, 12 �320, seven �321, 11 Boeing B767, and four DC-10 now transferred to its subsidiary Aeroflot Cargo.
