In 2006, the Danish market generated a total of 84,087 tonnes of export airfreight, expected to increase to about 88,000 tonnes in 2007 and 110,273 tonnes in 2012.
The main market for Danish airfreight is Asia/Pacific that generated 30,466 tonnes in 2006, expected to increase by 5.3 percent during the period, to 32,500 tonnes in 2007 and 41,500 tonnes in 2012.
The second largest market is North America that accounted for 22,350 tonnes in 2006. This market is expected to grow by three percent annually during the period, reaching about 23,000 tonnes in 2007 and 28,500 tonnes in 2012.
