At least during the first two months of this year, air cargo volumes have risen 91.8 percent, to a total of 1,481 tonnes of cargo.
Mail volumes are also on the increase, up 8.2 percent to 132 tonnes.
In 2006 the airport generated a total of 10,361 tonnes of cargo and mail, up 4.3 percent y-o-y.
Of this air cargo contributed 9,502 tonnes, an increase by 91.7 percent, y-o-y.
