Mar 23, 2007 (newstodate): Sweden's Gothenburg Landvetter Airport has set new targets for its freighter traffic after the completion of the major cargo terminal construction that will almost double the airport's capacity.
-Currently we have 13 scheduled weekly freighter frequencies per week, and our goal is to see this increasing to 20 by 2010, says Lena Stavmo, Gothenburg Landvetter Airport Route & Aviation Development Manager.
Latest newcomer among freighter operators to the airport is Cargolux, operating at Gothenburg since Januar 6, 2007.
The airport expects that the improved infrastructure now under construction will attract more freighter traffic.
