Mar 2, 2007 (newstodate): Still undetected by freighter operators, Denmark's Billund Airport keeps growing its cargo volumes high above industry averages.
In February the airport saw its total volumes up 18.5 percent, to 4,495 tonnes.
Totals split into imports, up 22.3 percent to 2,195 tones, and exports up 15.1 percent to 2,300 tonnes.
After the first two months of 2007, Billund Airport has thus seen its total volumes increasing by 12.6 percent to 8,916 tonnes, comprising imports, up 9.8 percent to 4,386 tonnes, and exports, up 15.5 percent to 4,530 tonnnes.
