Mar 2, 2007 (newstodate): Building on profitable results in 2007, Adria Airways based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, has high ambitions for further expansion and progress in 2007.
Following confirmation of the company's recapitalisation, which shareholders adopted at the last general meeting on 19 February 2007, the company will acquire fresh capital which will be allocated for changes to the fleet.
Plans are to add two CRJ900 aircraft in May, one as an outright purchase, and the other on a lease contract.
The new aircraft will allow the carrier to add connections to Amsterdam, Brussels, Zurich, Skopje and Kiev in 2007.
