Mar 6, 2007 (newstodate): SAS has now confirmed its decision to introduce non-stop flights from Copenhagen to Dubai.
With effect from October 31, 2007, the carrier will operate three times weekly with Airbus A340 aircraft until March 29, 2008, when more flights may be added, depending on the market demand.
SAS thus gains an edge over Emirates that has long had Copenhagen on the list of new destination, but postponed a launch date for various reasons.
Also Qatar Airways is said to start up a new route between Stockholm, Sweden, and Qatar by this autumn.
