Mar 28, 2007 (newstodate): St Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport will seek foreign investors to take part in the continued development of the airport.
After the split of Pulkovo Airlines into an airline and an airport company, the city of St Petersburg now holds 100 percent of the shares, but a program has been announced detailing that the city will be willing to divest itself of almost 75 percent of the shares to an investor that will secure the airport's development program.
The airport will need a new passenger terminal and a general upgrading of its infrastructure including equipment and systems.
