Mar 14, 2007 (newstodate): Latvian carrier airBaltic is planning to enter the Estonian market, according to Estonian press reports.
Having already built up a strong base in neighbouring country Lithuania, airBaltic will now reportedly be ready to open a new route between Riga and Estonia's second-largest city, Tartu, pending the certification of Tartu Airport's new radar system.
The airport's managing director confirms that negotiations with airBaltic are proceeding well.
