Mar 23, 2007 (newstodate): AFter the sale to RTG Oy of its ground handling activities at 13 Finnish airports, Finnair is evaluating further moves in its handling situation at other airports.
Announcing the sale, Finnair said its ground handling subsidiary Northport will continue its operations in Helsinki, Stockholm Arlanda and Oslo Gardemoen.
But in his speech delivered to the recent Finnair annual general meeting, the Finnair chairman of the board said that "we are continuing to study arrangements at Helsinki-Vantaa, Stockholm and Oslo, indicating that the current role of Northport may be under scrutiny here as well.
