Mar 7, 2007 (newstodate): In February, Finnair noted a 4.5 percent increase in cargo volumes, y-o-y.
The carrier lifted a total of 6,817 tonnes of cargo, 6,231 tonnes of which was carried on scheduled services, up 8.6 percent.
As before, the growth was driven by the carrier's extensive and growing Asian traffic that increased to 3,862 tonnes, up 25.3 percent.
Volumes on European, North Atlantic, domestic and scheduled cargo charter services all declined in February.
