Mar 28, 2007 (newstodate): Effective from April 1, Air France KLM Cargo will leave the Baltic markets entirely.
-Despite the stable results from/to the Baltics, Air France KLM Cargo has taken the stratetical decision to stop all operations in the Baltic States. This concerns both directions, inbound and outbound. With this step Air France KLM Cargo withdraws its presence from
Baltics in full, the company states in a letter to agents.
According to industry sources, the Baltic markets' combined export airfreight is expected to grow by 4.3 percent per year over the next five years, from a total of 5,000 tonnes in 2006.
