Mar 20, 2007 (newstodate): Sweden's Gothenburg Landvetter Airport has been relatively quiet for a period. For a reason..
-2007 will be an interim year for Gothenburg Landvetter Airport, marked by the construction of a new cargo terminal, says Lena Stavmo, Gothenburg Landvetter Airport Route & Aviation Development Manager.
-Work started already last autumn when we removed eequipment, and we will even have to tear down parts of the existing old terminal to give way to the construction works.
-So rather than pursuing a hefty marketing campaign, we will focus on minimising the negative effects on the operations of our existing customers, and maintain an uncompromised level of quality of handling.
-On April 2 we will break ground for the construction of a 9,000 sq m facility dedicated to TNT Sweden and Spirit Air Cargo Handling, says Ms Stavmo.
