Feb 5, 2007 (newstodate): The owners of the Nordic air cargo GSSA, Weco-AirCargo have sold all shares in the company to WFC.
The acquisition will mark WFC's entry into the Nordic countries and add 50 million euros to its current sales by 250 million in 19 countries in Europe, USA, South America and India.
WECO-AirCargo's staff and Management will remain unchanged with Axel Chr. Rasmussen as CEO, Henrik Spove, Henrik Mortensen and Mika Raukio as Country Managers in Denmark, Sweden and Finland, respectively, and Steven Kean as Sales Manager.
WAC's portfolio, primarily building on the Air Logistics airline customer base, includes about 20 airlines such as Cargolux, Icelandair, Korean Airlines, Federal Express and Austrian Airlines, and WFC represents another 50 airlines companies in different countries.
