In total 6,113 tonnes of cargo and mail passed through the airport.
In its long-term forecast the airport expects to rise to a total of 11,100 tonnes by 2015.
The airport is, however, seeing its growth in operations mainly in the low-cost segment, adding little cargo capacity to Katowice.
