Feb 20, 2007 (newstodate): The Canadian carrier Skyservice Airlines has been designated to operate scheduled air services to several European markets, including Croatia and Serbia.
For more than 10 years, Skyservice Airlines has operated charter flights to several destinations in Europe, including charter service to Zagreb, Croatia and Belgrade, Serbia since 2004.
Skyservice is now planning flights with Boeing 757 aircraft from Toronto to both Zagreb and Belgrade from this summer, already.
The flight to Serbia will remedy the lack of direct air services betweeen that country and North America due to the sustained Category 2 rating by the US FAA.
