Dec 19, 2007 (newstodate): A new LCC in Croatia, Dalmatian.hr, is planning for its virgin flight in 2008.
Immediate plans are for domestic and European services from Zagreb and Split with Airbus A320 and/or Boeing 737 aircraft, but the airline's lofty ambitions also include low cost long-haul services with either Airbus A330 or Boeing 767-300 aircraft to Australia, Japan, the Middle East, Canada, and the United States of America with two-class wide body aircraft slated for start also in 2008.
The carrier's HQ is at Sibenik, Dalmatia, with Zaljko Romic as managing director.
