Dec 13, 2007 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Aeroflot-Nord is planning for a major expansion of its route network in 2008, including a new route to Scandinavia.
The route will operate from Archangelsk to "a capital in Scandinavia".
Aeroflot-Nord is also preparing to expand its aircraft fleet, now comprising eight Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
During the process, the carrier will phase out its current fleet of five An-24 and 13 Tu-134 aircraft.
