By early January, 2008, the local government will present a plan for public hearing which includes redistribution of land for use by the airport.
The airport that has two runways will modernise the existing passenger terminal and build a new one, modernise the airport infrastructure, and construct a new multimodal transport and logistics center to facilitate the handling of air cargo.
