Dec 12, 2007 (newstodate): The Airbus A350 XWB is continuing building up its order book after a weak start.
Latest orders comprise six A350 XWB for Libya's Afriqiyah Airways, to be delivered from 2017, four A350-800 aircraft for Libya's Libyan Airlines, also to be delivered from 2017, and 14 A350-900 plus an additional six on option for Taiwan's China Airlines, to be delivered from 2015.
Boeing's competing 787 Dreamliner, however, still leads the game with more than double the number of aircraft ordered, but the proportion is narrowing.
