Dec 10, 2007 (newstodate): For January-October, Denmark's top-30 IATA export airfreight destinations remained topped by Chicago.
Chicago generated 6,046 tonnes of cargo, or 9.3 percent of the market's total of 64,982 tonnes of IATA export cargo, and up 28.7 percent, y-o-y.
Second on the list was Hong Kong with 3,025 tonnes, up 33.2 percent and constituting 4.7 percent of total volumes.
Third came Shanghai with 2,751 tonnes, up 22.6 percent and constituting 4.2 percent of totals.
Fourth came Tokyo with 2,712 tonnes, but down 4.1 percent and now constituting 4.2 percent of the total volumes.
Fifth was New York with 2,651 tonnes, up 24.8 percent and constituting 4.1 percent of totals.
Seoul came sixth with 2,549 tonnes, up 52.7 percent and constituting 3.9 percent.
Seventh came Singapore with 2,390 tonnes, up 43.6 percent and constituting 3.7 percent.
Eight came Washington, 1,806 tonnes, up 19.3 percent, and constituting 2.8 percent.
#9 was Sydney with 1,745 tonnes, up 8.9 percent, and constituting 2.7 percent.
#10 was Dubai, 1,656 tonnes, up 33.6 percent and constituting 2.5 percent.
