Dec 20, 2007 (newstodate): The future for Finnair Cargo lies in a split between domestic and international business.
-We are in the process of establishing our present cargo business under two separate entities, i.e. forming a separate entity to run the cargo terminal operations, said Antero Lahtinen, Finnair Cargo managing director at Euroavia's recent air cargo conference in Helsinki.
-The new entity, Finnair Terminal Operations Oy would as one of the group companies run the terminal side of the business and operate in Finland only.
-The new Finnair Cargo Oy will focus on air freight transportation, sales and marketing and operate dominantly outside Finland.
