Dec 11, 2007 (newstodate): In November, Finnair Cargo saw its volumes up by 12 percent, y-o-y, to 9,480 tonnes.
As before, the increase is due to sustained growth in the Asian cargo that was up 39.1 percent to 5,996 tonnes, thus constituting 63 percent of total cargo loads.
Both North Atlantic and domestic cargo were down, dropping 10.2 and 14.8 percent, respectively.
European cargo fared better, up 6.3 percent to 2,171 tonnes.
During January-November the company's volumes grew 4.4 percent to 89,899 tonnes, again driven by Asian volumes that were up 22.7 percent to 54,454 tonnes, constituting 60.6 percent.
Scheduled cargo traffic is losing momentum, down 64.9 percent in November, and 42.2 percent during January-November.
