Dec 6, 2007 (newstodate): Russia's Perm Bolshoye Savino Airport is being considered for fresh development.
The airport has been close to having its operating license revoked by the state after several severe cases of deficient adherence to safety regulations.
A tender for redevelopment of the airport was opened this autumn, with a Moscovite institute emerging as the winner.
By March, 2008, the institute will report on the current facilities' adherence to IATA standards and present estimates for passenger and cargo potentials till 2025.
