Dec 17, 2007 (newstodate): Fresh efforts are being made to revive the direct air service between Billund, Denmark, and Lviv, Ukraine.
Twice-weekly flights were launched ohn October 19, 2007, but were suspended after only one month due to lack of bookings.
Behind the inititive is UPG Airservice, set up by a group of Danish companies with production or subsidiaries in Ukraine, in cooperation with Ukrainean investors in European Business Association.
Interested parties are now called to a meeting on January 11, 2008, to discuss the future of the route.
The proposal currently on the agenda is for two monthly flights, starting from mid-March 2008, if warranted by the market.
