Dec 13, 2007 (newstodate): Boeing has confirmed its intentions to be able to deliver the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner by the very end of 2008.
According to schedule, the aircraft will perform its maiden flight in January, 2008.
In October Boeing admitted to logistics problems with the Dreamliner project, causing it to delay its entry into service by six months, to December, 2008.
The aircraft has so far snatched a total of 762 orders.
