Dec 7, 2007 (newstodate): North America has remained Denmark's single largest and rising IATA export airfreight market in 2007.
In total the NAM market generated 18,797 tonnes of export airfreight on IATA carriers during January-October, up 16.1 percent y-o-y.
This volume corresponds to 29 percent of Denmark's total IATA export airfreight in the period.
Chicago came 1st among the NAM destinations, with 6,046 tonnes of cargo, up 28.7 percent.
2nd came New York with 2,651 tonnes, up 24.8 percent, followed by Washington as #2 with 1,806 tonnes, up 19.3 percent.
Fourth came Atlanta with 959 tonnes, up 1.2 percent, followed by Los Angeles with 754 tonnes, up 3.9 percent, and Dallas with 521 tonnes, up 76.2 percent.
