Dec 5, 2007 (newstodate): Taking effect from January, 2008, Finnair will implement Air Dispatch International's Load Control System.
The company will produce more than 50,000 load documents per year for Finnair's European flights, generated by its newly-built centralised load control centre in Prague.
The technology will allow Finnair that carriers almost nine million passengers and 83,000 tonnes of cargo and mail a year to streamline operations and maximise revenue on every seat.
Air Dispatch will provide full load documentation for Finnair aircraft including Embraer EM170 and EM190, Airbus A319, A320 and A321 aircraft.
Serving as a back-up in case of a system outage, the CLC will also provide documentation for Finnair's long haul flights on MD-11 and A340 aircraft.
