Dec 17, 2007 (newstodate): Hundreds of containers are now streaming into Budapest Ferihegy Airport, to form a temporary 3,200 sq m airport handling unit.
The construction of the container city is driven by the construction of a new terminal building named BUD Skycourt that will link the Terminals 2A and 2B.
Due to the construction of the passengers hall, a number of companies, including the airport's ground handling companies, will need temporary working space.
This project is the first step of BAs modernization program called BUD Future. Until 2011 BA will spend 261 million euro on the development of the airport.
