Dec 11, 2007 (newstodate): The Bulgarian cargo operator Vega Airlines is repositioning itself under a new name and with new aircraft.
In February, 2007, the carrier was banned from EU airspace and had its AOC revoked after alleged breaches of EU safety regulations.
The Plovdiv-based carrier, renamed Cargo Air, is now selling off its fleet of AN-12 aircraft and in the market instead for Boeing 737-300F aircraft.
