Nov 2, 2007 (newstodate): Only two months after opening business as GSA for Norwegian Air Shuttle, Transnautic Aero Poland has won two more cargo GSA contracts.
With effect from November 1, the Latvian carrier airBaltic has appointed Transnautic as its offline GSSA for Poland.
Cargo will be fed into the airline's network using road feeders from Warsaw to its twin hubs at Riga and Vilnius from where airBaltic serves 48 destinations throughout the Baltic States, Europe, Eastern Europe, the Nordics, Russia and the CIS, the Red Sea and Middle East using B737 and Fokker 50 aircraft.
Transnautic Aero Poland has also won the contract to represent Coyne Airways in Poland, effective November 22.
EGSAC-member Transnautic will feed cargo into Coyne's regular B747 freighter flights from Cologne to the Caspian oil states, Iraq and Afghanistan, using regular road feeders.
