Nov 7, 2007 (newstodate): While full cargo statistics for the first nine months at Stockholm Arlanda Airport are still pending, the airport is confident of sustained growth in 2007.
-Preliminary figures suggest an increase in volumes by six percent, y-o-y, in Q3, and I expect growth to be around 23 percent for the first nine months of this year, says Bjorn Ragnebrink, LFV director air cargo development.
In September, 2006, the airport handled a total of 6,641 tonnes of cargo, up 19 percent, and 47,920 tonnes during the first nine months of the year, an increase by 8.5 percent, y-o-y.
