Nov 5, 2007 (newstodate): Skyroute Logistics, specialised air cargo broker to Russia and the CIS, is to expand its products and services into central Europe by extending its partnership with Luxembourg-based associate and consolidator, Eastern Air Cargo.
As part of this closer working relationship, EAC will adopt the corporate identify of Skyroute Logistics Luxembourg and become the European consolidation point for Skyroutes global GSA network.
Skyroute will now seek to expand its global reach by establishing further sales outlets in the Far East and Australasia. A further Skyroute hub is also planned for the Middle East later in the year.
Skyroute was launched in 1993 following the collapse of the USSR after the companys founders, Roy Parmenter and Steven Matthews, saw a unique opportunity to specialise in the development of a wholesale freight product to serve the rapid expansion of this lucrative and demanding market.
