Nov 12, 2007 (newstodate): LinkGlobal Logistics that took over the German Schwerin Parchim Airport from July 1, 2007, now operates two weekly freighter flights from China.
The two weekly flights, operated by MK Airlines, fly into Schwerin from Urumqi, Xinjiang, and Zhengzou, LinkGlobal Logistics' home base.
Plans for more frequencies are in the pipeline but still not announced.
-From January, 2008, the company will add passenger flights as well, probably from Beijing to Schwerin, but the frequency and exact launch date have still not been decided, says Mr Chen, LinkGlobal Logistics general manager at Schwerin Parchim Airport.
