Nov 21, 2007 (newstodate): While still limited in volumes, the Russian carrier Aeroflot-Nord reports an increase by 36 percent, y-o-y, during the first nine months of 2007.
In total the carrier lifted 1,230 tonnes of cargo.
During the period the carrier added a number of domestic routes, and now has eight Boeing 737 aircraft in its fleet.
Also on the route network are seasonal flights from Archangelsk via Murmansk to Tromso in Norway, and to Levi, Finland.
During the period 2006-2010 the carrier will take in a total of 20 Boeing 737 aircraft, and is now also looking into the replacement of its fleet of AN-24 and Tu-134 aircraft, with Embraer 145 as a possible choice.
